RTL AdAlliance is responsible for your data. As Europe’s Leading Total Media Sales Group, RTL AdAlliance is incorporated in several countries in Europe and in the United States of America and we have commercial presence in all continents, this lets us combine local knowledge with global experience to offer you the best service. RTL AdAlliance Group comprises RTL AdAlliance S.A., a limited liability company, registered in Luxembourg under number B114002 and its affiliated entities (affiliate or subsidiary undertakings) which are authorized to use the commercial name RTL AdAlliance (“RTL AdAlliance”). 

For the purposes of applicable data protection law and specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act, your personal data will be controlled by the RTL AdAlliance entity that is providing you services or that is communicating with you, which is regarded as an independent data controller of your personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to all such entities. 

The personal data we collect from you is the following:

• Identity data: surname and first name, copy of identity card if applicable, for the purposes of proving the exercise of a right of access, rectification or opposition or to comply with a legal obligation;
• Contact details: business contact details including job title and function, your organization name and postal address, your business e-mail address and telephone number (landline/mobile); 
• Financial information: invoice payment data and all relevant data provided in the course of the contractual relationship between your organization and RTL AdAlliance;
• Profile and usage data, collected mainly through cookies and tracers, including your preferences in receiving marketing information from us, your communication preferences and information about how you use our Website, including the pages you visited, page response times, download errors, length of visits and page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs).   • Managing of requests for rights of access, rectification and opposition, deletion, limitation, portability, right to digital death and the right to lodge a complaint with the corresponding data protection local authority;

• To conduct our business and pursue our legitimate interests, specifically in the case of digital interactive advertising offers, RTL AdAlliance sells inventory of publishers and broadcasters displaying interactive advertising. In this context, the respective publisher or broadcaster collects the data that is processed by technical services providers (SSPs and DSPs). RTL AdAlliance will receive from publishers, broadcaster or technical services providers only anonymized data not permitting to identify you as individual. RTL AdAlliance will deliver the sold advertising space in its inventory through the technology platform of smartclip Europe GmbH (acting as SSP). Detailed information on the processing of personal data collected by the corresponding publisher or broadcaster and processed by smartclip Europe GmbH technology platform can be consulted here.The purpose of processing the personal data in this context is the following:
  • Provide you with a good advertising experience for you as a website visitor by delivering you accurate advertisements in the websites you visit.
  • Provide an efficient use of marketing budgets by advertisers placing advertising in our inventory. 

Only the authorized and specified persons mentioned below may have access to your personal data:

• RTL AdAlliance Group entities for the purposes of providing you the services described on the Website or in the specific contract. Your data will only be shared in the extent it is necessary for the provisions of the services of the execution of the contract, to provide customer support, marketing, technical operations or newsletter or event registration.
• Third-party services providers and subcontractors: we may share your data with third-party services providers we have retained in connection with the services we provide, or provide IT, system administration and hosting services, research, measurement and analytics services, marketing and customer support. 
• Government or judiciary authorities, law enforcement officials or regulators, government officials or attorneys for the establishment, exercise or defense of a claim or within the framework of a confidential alternative dispute resolution process.
• Professional advisers: in specific circumstances, we may share your data with professional advisers including lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services to us.

We collect your personal data when you visit the Website, subscribe to our newsletter, communicate with us, request contact from us or establish a contractual relationship with us.

RTL AdAlliance will only retain your personal data for no longer that is necessary for the purposes the data was collected for. Upon expiry of the applicable retention term, we will securely destroy your personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. RTL AdAlliance will retain your data for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements and, where required for RTL AdAlliance to assert or defend against legal claims, until the end of the relevant retention period or until the claims in question have been settled.

All RTL AdAlliance entities and RTL AdAlliance services provides and subcontractors with whom the personal data is shared ensure appropriate technical measures granting level of data protection at least as protective as that required in the European Economic Area. 

In order to reflect any changes to the way in which we process your personal data or to comply with applicable legal requirements, RTL AdAlliance reserves the right to update and change this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing it on the Website.  When using the Website, you are required to refer regularly to the latest version of the Privacy Policy.
