What is coming up… 2024!

As the Advertising and Media industry continues to evolve, the significance of RTL AdAlliance’s insights and expertise continues to grow. Stepping into 2024, we await a year filled with exciting events, both hosted and attended by our team. Here is a first look into just a few of the anticipated events scheduled for the coming year. We cannot wait to embark this journey with you!

OTT Question Time Live 2024 – London – January 30th / 31st

The first main event that we will be attending this year is OTT Question Time Live 2024. It is an annual event that brings industry-leading experts together to discuss their streaming products, commercial and monetisation strategies, technologies, innovations, and solutions. This year’s focus is on the future of TV.

We are excited to announce that Stephen Byrne, VP Partnership Development at RTL AdAlliance, will be speaking at this year’s event alongside speakers from Samsung, Fremantle and BBC. This panel will focus on FAST channels, examining some of the commercial, technical and regulatory issues that are helping FAST evolve. Specifically, it will delve into the trends in ad formats and monetisation strategies, the AdTech crucial to the functioning of FAST channels, the role of data in optimising targeting and personalisation, and data privacy, brand safety and fraud.

The New Life of the Living Room – April

We are also eagerly looking forward to our upcoming annual event, “The New Life of the Living Room,” scheduled for this April.

At this event, we will reveal in-depth analysis of video content consumption behaviours in 10 major European markets as well as looking beyond the pond to the US. The big screen has long been a staple in every household, and this study discusses not only how this, and other screens are being used, but sheds a light on the topic of CTV and its developments. Additionally, we will unveil an internationally published study report that shares premium insights and data on connected TV.

NextM – Stokholm – April 26th / 27th

The upcoming GroupM event is set to unfold over two days on April 26th and 27th in Stockholm. Renowned as the largest Nordic Tech and marketing event globally, it brings together a dynamic array of marketing visionaries, tech experts, adept journalists, and gaming enthusiasts. Through a lineup of keynotes, breakout speakers, and panels, these industry leaders will share profound insights, providing a comprehensive perspective on the latest trends and developments within the sector. Their collective expertise will foster radical optimism, addressing and overcoming the daily challenges encountered in the dynamic landscape of the industry.

Our very own Jean-Baptiste Moggio, Senior Brand Director at RTL AdAlliance, will present  revealing exclusive insights into the realm of Total Video, as well as exploring the depths of connected TV. Come visit us at our branded booth, we are looking forward to welcoming you in our living room!

Global Marketing’s True North – World Federation of Advertisers – Toronto – May 14th – 17th

WFA Global Marketer Week, the event for international marketers, is returning to Toronto in May 2024, and we cannot wait to attend. Hosted by WFA, this gathering will convene the brightest minds in the industry for a week of exploration, inspiration, and learning in the dynamic realms of marketing and advertising.

We are especially excited that our CEO, Stéphane Coruble, has once again the honour of opening the exclusive gala dinner with a speech.


 

Cannes Lions – Cannes – 17th – 21st June

This year, RTL AdAlliance looks forward once again to one of the biggest events of the year, Cannes Lions. This renowned International Festival of Creativity serves as a prime occasion for the advertising and communications industry meet to celebrate the world’s best work, and we are delighted to represent legacy broadcasters on the Croisette for the 3rd year in a row with the RTL Beach.

Distinguished thought leaders, forward-thinking global enterprises, and pioneers in the creative marketing industry meet to exchange exclusive insights, creating a week filled with top-tier networking, learning opportunities, and groundbreaking creativity.

 

MAD Fest – London – July 2nd – 4th

This year we are also looking forward to the UKs biggest, buzziest and boldest marketing festival in July. Over three exciting days, attendees can expect a dynamic lineup featuring speakers, networking opportunities, brand innovation pitches, masterclasses, and experiential activation. With over 15,000 attendees, including representatives from prominent brands and agencies, this event is a must-attend for gaining valuable insights into the latest trends in marketing and advertising.

 

RTL AdAlliance have secured two speaking slots on the main Mad Fest stage, as well as a private roof terrace. This presents a great opportunity for us to share inclusive insights into the industry and engage in networking with leading experts.

SME Summit - November

In November, RTL AdAlliance is hosting the annual SME summit in Cologne. Through engaging discussions and insightful panels with industry experts, this event will shed light on the limitless possibilities of Addressable TV for SMEs in the German Total Video market. 


 

The Future of TV Advertising Global – London – December

In December, the ‘Future of TV Advertising Global’ event will unfold once again in London. This annual event brings together leaders in the TV advertising industry to share their latest thinking and best practices, exploring the next decade of Total Video. Of course, RTL AdAlliance is looking forward to sharing our experience, trends and insights with the attendees. It is great to be able to share, network and discuss with the industry leaders.
