  • Expansion: The expanded RTL AdAlliance demonstrates a strong commitment to long-term growth in Austria

Hamburg / Vienna, October 28th, 2024

From July 2025 onwards, the multi-channel marketer IP Österreich will become part of RTL AdAlliance, the international advertising sales house of RTL Group. This sets the course for a powerful digital advance by the Austrian sales champion. The company will merge its portfolio with RTL AdAlliance. In addition, advertising clients will gain access to the advertising inventory of well-known European media brands and the premium content of the international sales house. By mid 2025, IP Österreich will operate under the unified RTL brand image.

IP Österreich boasts a cross-media portfolio. The marketing mandate includes linear and digital TV environments, Addressable TV/Connected TV, Digital-Out-Of-Home, influencer marketing, and a high-quality digital portfolio, including all digital products from RTL Deutschland. In addition to R9 and krone.tv, OE24.TV, Canal+, and the sports channels Sky Sport Austria and Sport1, IP Österreich exclusively markets RTL Deutschland's TV channels RTL, Vox, Super RTL, Nitro, NTV, RTL Up, RTL Zwei, and the streaming service RTL+.

All IP Österreich employees will be integrated into RTL AdAlliance. The seasoned management team with authorised signatories Elisabeth Frank (Multi-Channel Sales Director), Claudia Ostermann-Schabata (Marketing and Business Development Director), and Marion Hammerl (Director Finance and HR) will continue their successful work alongside the management. This also involves an expansion of the management: Oliver Vesper, Chief Digital Officer and Deputy CEO of RTL AdAlliance, will become Co-Managing Director of IP Österreich (operating as RTL AdAlliance from July 2025 onwards) alongside Walter Zinggl starting from January 1, 2025.

Recently, IP Österreich announced the takeover of the sales marketing for the two Warner Bros. Discovery channels TLC and DMAX at the turn of the year 2024/2025.
